About Nari Shakti Puraskar: Nari Shakti Puraskar is one of the most appreciated initiatives by the Govt. of India to encourage women to do something great in life. And also encouraging women to be self-dependent in their life. 

In the Nari Shakti Puraskar scheme, all the deserving women and institutions are awarded by the different Nari Shakti Puraskars every year on the occasion of World's Women's Day. This year it is getting organized on 8th March 2022.

Nari Shakti Puraskar Prizes 2022

Nari Shakti Puraskar Prizes 2022: Nari Shakti Puraskar is nothing new as it getting organized since 1999, Its name has been changed from Stree Shakti Puraskar to Nari Shakti Puraskar in 2015, In this winners will get 2 lakh rupees as cash prizes and medals.

Giving cash prizes as rewards to deserving candidates is one of the factors that women will get the motivation to try something their own and will be self-dependent.

As the Ministry of Women and Child Development has distributed the Nari Shakti Puraskar 2022 so it becomes more important to know are those who got these awards. If you are not getting the list of winners then don't worry here I will share the complete list of all the winners here.

Govt. of India made the announcement of the awards on  20th February 2022 for 2022. Since last 2 years awards ceremony was not organized due to Covid-19, but this it is getting organized on 8th March 2022.

Nari Shakti Puraskar categories

Nari Shakti Puraskar is going to be distributed in six institutional categories 

1. Rani Lakshmi Bai Award, 
2. Rani Gaidinliu Zeliang Award,
3. Mata Jijabai Award,
4. Kannagi Devi Award,
5. Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Award &
6. Rani Rudramma Devi Awards

and two individual categories. For courage, bravery, and For making outstanding contributions to women’s endeavor, making a difference, or women’s empowerment and community work.

1. Rani Lakshmi Bai Award 

Rani Lakshmi Bai Award is given to the best institution that has contributed for the research and development in the field of women's empowerment

2. Rani Gaidinliu Zeliang Award

Rani Gaidinliu Zeliang Award is given to the Civil Society Organisation for doing outstanding work for the welfare and well-being of women. 

3. Mata Jijabai Award

Mata Jijabai Award is given to the best urban local bodies who provide services and facilities to women.

4. Kannagi Devi Award 

Kannagi Devi Award is given to the deserving State of India, which has improved their Child Sex Ratio.

5. Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Award

Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Award is given to institutions for providing the well-being of the woman.

6. Rani Rudramma Devi Awards

Rani Rudramma Devi Awards has given two districts panchayat and two-gram panchayats for their contributions in their area regarding the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana, or Scheme.

Nari Shakti Puraskar Winner List 2022

Nari Shakti Puraskar Winner List 2022: As mentioned above, Nari Shakti Puraskar is organized on 8th March 2022 and awards will be handed by the Honourable President of India Ramnath Kovind to all the deserving women and institutions.

For the last two years, awards were not distributed due to Covid-19 so those awards will be distributed on 8th March 2022 too.

There are 29 women who are honored with the awards in the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi by the Honourable President of India. The list of the winners of Nari Shakti Puraskar 2020 and 2021 is also given below.

Stree Shakti Puraskar First Women winner

The 2010 Stree Shakti Puraskar was awarded to four women: Kannagi Award to Thagu Maya Bardewa from Sikkim. Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Award to Monika S. Garg from Uttar Pradesh. Rani Lakshmi Bai Award to Pottabathini Padmavathi from Andhra Pradesh.
