As the world continues to navigate the post-pandemic recovery in 2024,the interplay between state, market, and civil society remains keyto forging resilient and equitable growth. This colloquium addresses theevolving dynamics of these actors to align policies with the emerging needs of a rapidlychanging global landscape. Through collaborative discourse,we aim to identify innovative strategies for sustainable progress inSouth Asia and Southeast Asia.The inspiration for this colloquium emerged from the concepts presented in Dr. Rajat Nag'swork on institutions and governance.

(NIPFP). He is also the co-author of In Service of the Republic: The
Art and Science of Economic Policy.

Dr. Siddharth Tiwari, Chatham House
Associate Fellow, Global Economy and Finance Programme,
Chatham House. He has served as head of the BIS Office for Asia in
Hong Kong; as Executive Secretary of the G20 Eminent Persons
Group in Singapore; and in senior management positions in the IMF
including as Director of Strategy Policy and Review, Secretary of the
IMF, Chief of Staff for the Managing Director, and Head of Country
Operations in Africa.
